In partnership with TMF Health Quality Institute, TCPQS hosted On the CUSP: Stop HAI Mid Course Meeting for hospitals who have already launched SSI and BSI reduction collaboratives. Over 100 participants attended this one-day event held at THA headquarters on July 20, 2011.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

TeamSTEPPS is a teamwork system designed to improve quality, safety, and efficiency of healthcare. The train-the-trainers course was hosted by the Texas Center for Quality & Patient Safety, and 20 hospitals from across the state attended. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For the first time, Innovation Centers were featured at THA's Annual Conference on Feb. 2 -3, 2011 in Austin. The largest category of centers was Quality and Patient Safety, and several hospitals from across the state were present to share best practices.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

TCQPS hosted the launch of On the CUSP: Stop HAI, a combined meeting kicking off several hospitals participation in collaboratives to reduce or eliminate preventable hospital-acquired infections. A panel of hospitals shared success stories and current challenges in infection prevention and quality improvement.
